The Spinning® program is derived from real road cycling and whether you are new to indoor cycling or have been riding for years, the Spinning® program provides all the tools you need to achieve your health and fitness goals and has helped millions of people get into the best shape of their lives.
A road cyclist will normally have a natural pedal cadence of about 85 RPM and will control changes in terrain by changing gear to maintain this rate. The goal of the Spinning® programme is not to exceed this natural rate by more than 25 RPM higher (110 RPM) or lower (60 RPM).
Our studio is equipped with 15 bikes and classes are led by Andrea Drew, Certified Spinning® Instructor, whose aim is to create a class which focuses on improving muscular strength and endurance with Cardio‐vascular efficiency and changes to body composition.
Classes will last between 50 and 60 minutes, all set to pumping music to keep you energised and motivated throughout and will focus on the following Energy Zones™:✸ Recovery
✸ Endurance
✸ Strength
✸ Interval
✸ Race Day
The resistance dial, of course, is in your hands so the effort you put in is down to you!
