While St. Just awaits the re-opening of its shiny new Co-op store, we are very pleased to say that Co-op members can still support us at Co-op Causes.
We are a small charity, so we're hoping this support will allow us to replace and upgrade some sports and gym equipment. We would also like to achieve better disability access to fitness, for which there is a local demand.
Thanks to Co op Members, £15 million has been given to over 4,500 local community causes. Click here to support us. Thank you.

After much speculation and uncertainty, we can now announce that we will be re-opening on Monday 27th July!
We are very excited to welcome you back, although we will be operating reduced opening hours to start with, and we will remain flexible as we all get used to the changes.
Things will be a bit different for a while... The gym will be open for pre-booked appointments on Monday and Wednesday mornings, and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings only for now. Fitness classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Monday and Thursday evenings. We have doubled the number of BODY BLITZ and FIT AS A FIDDLE classes as each class will be restricted to a maximum of 12 participants. See go-stjust.org/COVID19 for further details.
Strict rules will be in place to protect all our customers and staff. Spaces (and equipment) in the gym and in classes will be limited, so booking at least 48 hours in advance by phone will be essential.
When you book a gym session... you will be booking a specific 'area' with specific equipment in it at a specific time for a period of up to 45 minutes. This is to enable staff to clean each area before the next user arrives. Our phone line (01736) 787856 will be open from 10am to 12pm on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th July for booking gym sessions and classes for the week of 27th to 30th July. Please visit go-stjust.org/COVID19 for further details. We are all very grateful to you for your positive support and cooperation at this time. Our aim is to help as many people as possible to access the centre as safely as possible, whilst we continue to monitor and adapt to government guidelines and restrictions. We hope to see you soon! The GO! Team
We were planning to re-open on Monday 6th July, however the government briefing on Tuesday 23rd June stated that gyms and leisure centres may not open for the foreseeable future.
From the information that we have received from the government, we believe that the earliest date that we will be able to open is Monday 20th July, so we're keeping our fingers crossed, and planning for it so that we will be ready.
As previously stated, things will be a bit different for a while. The gym will be open on Monday and Wednesday mornings, and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings only. Fitness classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Monday and Thursday evenings.
Strict rules will be in place to protect all our staff and customers. Spaces (and equipment) in the gym and in classes will be limited, so booking at least 48 hours in advance by phone will be essential.
Further details will be released shortly after the next relevant government announcement on 14th July, so please do not attempt to book yet, we'll let you know when the phone line will be in operation. In the mean time, we hope you are all keeping well, and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon!
