Here in the heart of England's most westerly town is GO .... St Just's community sports and fitness centre. Complete with a multi station gym and full four court sports hall we are equipped to fulfill all your sports and fitness needs.
To assist with your fitness regime our qualified instructors run classes as varied as 'Fit as a Fiddle' which is suitable for any ability level, and Indoor Cycling together with Personal and Small Group training.
We cater for all ages and activities; check out Kids Zumba and Jumping Joeys in the sports hall for fun and exercise for the under-fives, fitness classes suitable for 18 to 88 year olds, and badminton, football, basketball, walking and cycling clubs.
Following the government announcement at 5pm today we will close the sports centre at 9pm on Friday 20th March and remain closed for the foreseeable future. If you need to contact us please do so via our Facebook page. We will keep our Facebook page updated with any news we may have, in the mean time thank you for your continued support and co-operation. We hope to see you again soon.
With immediate effect we will restrict the number of people using the gym to 4 at any one time, and the number of participants in classes to 12. Please get in touch to book you class place or gym time slot (up to 1 hour). Priority will be given to those who have booked.
We would like to thank you for your co-operation at this unusual time.
Here at the sports centre we will be continuing to open for business as usual, following the Public Health England guidlines, and requesting that all our visitors do likewise.
We are asking our centre users to:
1. Wash their hands with soap and water before and after attending the gym, sports hall or fitness class
2. Wipe down all equipment before and after use with anti-bac spray and wipes provided
3. Stay at home if they feel unwell

We have introduced 2 new ways to save on fitness!
30 day pass for £40.00
7 day pass for £10.00.
The 30 day pass is suitable for those who use the gym and/or classes more that 10 times in a month, but who cannot or don't wish to commit to year-round monthly membership payments.
With a pass you have unlimited access to the gym and classes, but you don't have to renew every month, you can purchase passes as frequently or infrequently as you wish.
The 7 day pass is the same, but is also suitable for visitors and holiday makers who wish to use the gym and classes more that twice in up to 7 days, saving on the £4.00 per session pay-as-you-go rate.
In order to purchase passes, session cards or memberships we require you to complete a simple form (if you haven't already done so). Details available at reception.
We've taken a couple of months off over the winter; who wants to go walking in storm Dennis?! Not us, so we're going to resume our walks on the 3rd Sunday of each month beginning on March 15th. Check out Walking for details.
Once again we are proud to host the St. Just Yuletide Fair here at the sports centre. The big day is Sunday 24th November, join us between 11am and 3pm for 60 stalls, music, dancing, Santa and his elves, mince pies and mulled wine. The raffle prizes are going to be epic! We've starting a new walking group on 3rd Sunday of each month. Suitable for all abilities, go at your own pace. Led by John Edwards, walks will take in the beautiful local scenery and will be a great way to get fit and make new friends. See Walking for details.
October 2018 will see the start of a brand new fun fitness class for all abilities; Darcey Bussell's DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix) Dance Fitness. Lead by Karen Nicholas of Lockwood Urban Dance School, The aim of DDMIX is to get people moving without being intimidated by the word 'dance' or the technicality of the steps, but instead to give a full body workout that is such fun that you don't even notice that you are exercising. With the vast number of dance styles around the world to choose from, no one will ever get bored!
Classes will be held on Tuesday mornings, starting at 9.15am and finishing at 10am, your first class is FREE, then it's as little as £3 per class*. Feel free to get in touch with any questions, he hope to see you there! Take a look.
